Executive Recruitment
Assignments are regarded as a high priority, and as such we commit the appropriate resources to ensure that a thorough and robust search is conducted with a view to delivering a high quality shortlist in as short a timeframe as possible.
This can be done using the traditional model of a percentage-based fee, or the POWER model (hourly rate).
Our strategy for sourcing and selecting candidates is:
Client Brief
We meet with you to obtain a full description of the position, team and organisation. If required, we will work with you to write the position description, including the key responsibilities, KPI’s, desired qualifications, experience and attributes.
Correctly specifying the role is a critical success factor in find the right person for your team, and Linton Howard Executive brings deep understanding in this area.
Search Process
We draft an advertisement which is signed off by you. We then place a highlighted or premium advertisement on Seek and other relevant websites, either under your logo or under Linton Howard Executive. We also email all relevant candidates on our database, search LinkedIn and list the role on our website. All candidates receive a personalised acknowledgement of their application.
We review and screen all applicants for suitability. Suitable candidates are then interviewed by us and ranked according to their suitability for the role against the key selection criteria.
We present a shortlist of at least 3 candidates to you, along with their resumes and a report that provides a summary of the candidate and specific points relating to their suitability for the role.
You select which candidates you would like to interview and we arrange this. Usually we will be present for this first interview. A second interview without our attendance may also be arranged, depending on your preference or if you cannot decide between a number of candidates
Psychological Profiling
We generally recommend short list candidates complete a range of aptitude and personality profiling tools that provide a more complete picture of their strengths and weaknesses.
Finalising Appointment
We ask referees to complete a tailored written reference check once you have selected the preferred candidate(s).
An offer is made to the successful candidate, often with Linton Howard negotiating the total remuneration package between you and the candidate.
The contract and other documentation is sent to the candidate for signing, after which it’s returned to you. A start date is agreed and work commences.
Follow Up
Linton Howard Executive conducts a series of follow-up calls with both yourself and the candidate upon the completion of their first week in the role; after the first month and also at the end of their probation. We want to ensure both you and your new employee are happy with the arrangement.
